To highlight KBC's refinery simulation software, we imagined an analogy to TK Mattingly's role in the simulator at the Johnson Space Center during the rescue of Apollo 13. We were fortunate to actually
contract Mr. Mattingly to speak at the three-day event.

The design of the collateral for the conference followed the Apollo 13 theme from site signage to
the attendee kits, which included actual mission patches. Shown above are the cover and the
first inside spread.
